“OMBAC represents excellence, tradition, and ambition — the exact ingredients that define high-performance rugby,” said Alex Corbisiero. “My focus is to create an environment that develops players to their highest potential, fosters professionalism throughout the program, and reestablishes OMBAC as a national powerhouse in American rugby. I’m also looking forward to working closely with the OMBAC Wallabies youth program, helping to inspire and develop the next generation of players coming through the club. I’m a coach that focuses on building strong relationships with his players based on a mutual investment of trust and love combined with

blood, sweat and tears. I look forward to this seasons ride with my OMBAC brothers and making it a fun successful environment.”

OMBAC Rugby President Jon Hinkin emphasized the significance of the appointment in elevating the club’s technical standards and competitive culture.

“Alex brings a world-class pedigree and a modern high-performance mindset,” said Hinkin. “He understands what it takes to win at the elite level and will instill those same standards across our players and coaching staff. His leadership marks a new chapter for OMBAC as we build toward consistent championship contention and greater player advancement.”

Founded in 1966, OMBAC Rugby has been a dominant force in U.S. rugby for nearly six decades, claiming 8 national fifteens titles and 6 national sevens championships. The club continues to produce international-caliber players and remains a key driver of high-performance rugby in the United States.

A note from OMBAC Wallabies Club President, Jamie Latty - “It goes without saying that Alex brings a new level of rugby coaching experience to the OMBAC name that we are all confident will be just the start of their return to glory. At the Wallabies, we are very excited to know that he is looking at the next generation of players and we welcome the opportunity to work with him and learn from his experience and insights.
