1. Field locations – Encinitas Community Park: Games will be played at Encinitas Community Park located at 425 Santa Fe Drive Encinitas, CA 92024.
Fields for each age division are broken down as follows:
Field #1 - U12N
Field #2 - U14N, U14E, U16
Field #3 - U14N, U12E
Field #4 - U10N, U10E
Access to the fields does not begin until 7:00 AM. The first matches of the day on all fields will start promptly at 8:00 AM.
2. Parking: Parking is free for all players, officials, coaches, and spectators on site at Encinitas Community Park.
3. Check-in: Check-in for each age group will be at the Registration tent. Please see the map for tent location.
For teams playing at 8:00 AM, please check in no later than 7:20 AM. For all other matches, teams are to check in 60 minutes prior to your first match. Please bring a printed Match Facts roster to present to the check-in admin to mark off and keep. Players should be lined up in the order of the roster submitted. Players will be marked for their approved division of play.
4. Technical Zones: Only checked-in and marked players, coaches, and admin that are on the Match Facts roster are allowed in the technical zones.
5.Sideline Management: All spectators must be behind the roped area. Rostered field monitors for each team are responsible for their team’s spectator behavior.
6. Food & Beverage: Hot food, snacks and drinks will be available from 8am from Kai's Meat Pies. Please see map for food vendor location.
7. Facility Rules: Smoking, vaping, and alcohol are strictly prohibited on all fields.
8. Rosters: Playing down is not allowed. If there is an Experienced and Novice in the same division and an athlete is rostered to Experienced, they cannot play Novice.
9. Tournament Rules: All U10 and U12N matches will be using center scoring rules as there are no posts on those fields.

10. Tournament Format
U10 Experienced
6 team, 3 game guarantee. Two pool games plus guaranteed playoff game.
U10 Novice
10 team, 2 pool round robin play with a 4 game guarantee. Top 2 teams following pool games will play final.
U12 Experienced
9 team, 3 pool round robin play. 3 game guarantee.
5 teams advance to the knock out round
Top overall seed after pool play will receive a bye and will face the winner of the 4th v 5th seeds in a semifinal
2nd and 3rd seed will play in the other semifinal
U12 Novice
9 team, 3 pool round robin play. 3 game guarantee.
5 teams advance to the knock out round
Top overall seed after pool play will receive a bye and will face the winner of the 4th v 5th seeds in a semifinal
U14 Experienced
5 team, 4 game guarantee. Top 2 teams to play final.
U14 Novice
10 team, 2 pool round robin play with a 4 game guarantee. Top 2 teams following pool games will play final.
U16: 6 team, 3 game guarantee. Two pool games plus guaranteed playoff game.
11. Seedings
Seedings for each division have been done on a random lottery basis as there no recorded results available to complete seedings.
12. Pool Play Points Calculation / Tiebreakers
For divisions playing in a round robin pool play (U10N, U12N, U12E, U14N, and BU16), table points are calculated as follows:
Win – 3 points
Draw – 2 points
Lose – 0 points
For pool play, matches can end in a tie/draw.
If teams within a pool have the same record, the following tiebreakers will be utilized in order of priority:
First tiebreaker is Head-to-Head result
Second tiebreaker is net point differential
Third tiebreaker is a coin flip
*** In a Championship/Final match for U10 Experienced, U12 Experienced, U14 Novice, U14 Experienced, and BU16 only - If the game ends in a tie, then a 5-minute sudden-death period will take place, with the first team to score winning the match***
