Founded in 2006 and based in San Diego, California, The OMBAC Wallabies Youth Rugby Club is the Youth Arm of OMBAC Rugby…the USA’s most decorated Rugby Football Club.

Our club proudly fields teams in 7 Age Groups/ Divisions ranging from U8s to U18s. All of our coaches are registered and certified through USA Rugby with the goal of providing a safe and fun environment to learn rugby and develop the fundamental skills necessary to be successful. 

Our club is a true United Nations of Families with players, coaches and administrators making their way to OMBAC from the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Catalonia, Ireland, England, South Africa, Western Samoa and Tonga.

At the heart of OMBAC Wallabies Youth Rugby is the unique ethos and traditions, which Rugby has retained for almost 200 years. Not only is the Game played to the Laws, but within the spirit of the Laws.  All club members (families, supporters, players, coaches, administrators) are mindful of this Ethos and display the highest level of respect for the game, its players and officials at ALL times.

As outlined by World Rugby, “Through discipline, control and mutual self-respect, a fellowship and sense of fair play are forged, defining Rugby as the Game it is. From the school playground to the Rugby World Cup final, Rugby Union offers a truly unique and thoroughly rewarding experience for all involved in the Game.”
